We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but UniMart operates as a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting students directly. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for transactions completed on our platform.

Why We Don't Offer Refunds

UniMart is a student marketplace platform that facilitates connections between buyers and sellers. We do not handle payments, inventory, or shipping directly. All transactions occur between individual students, making it impossible for us to process refunds on their behalf.

We understand this may be disappointing, and we truly appreciate your understanding of our platform's operational model.

What You Can Do Instead

Contact the Seller Directly

Reach out to the seller through UniMart's messaging system to discuss your concerns. Many sellers are willing to work with buyers to resolve issues amicably.

Review Listings Carefully

Always review product descriptions, images, and seller ratings thoroughly before making a purchase. Use UniMart's messaging system to ask questions about the item if needed.

Report Issues to UniMart

If you encounter fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, or serious issues, please report the seller to our support team. We take community safety seriously and will investigate all reports.

Platform Fees

Please note that our 5% platform fee (and 2% affiliate marketing fee, if applicable) is non-refundable. These fees cover:

Affiliate marketers are eligible for payouts only when they have at least 500 Affiliate Points.

  • Platform hosting and maintenance
  • Payment processing infrastructure
  • Customer support services
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Community moderation

Dispute Resolution

While we cannot offer refunds, we are committed to helping resolve disputes between buyers and sellers:

  • We provide a mediation service to facilitate communication
  • Fraudulent sellers may be banned from the platform
  • We can help gather evidence for serious disputes

Trading Items

For trade-only listings (items exchanged without money), the same no-refund policy applies. All trades are final once completed. We encourage both parties to carefully inspect items before finalizing any trade.
