By accessing and using UniMart, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our platform.

1. Platform Role

Unimart is a digital marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. Unimart does not own, manufacture, store, or sell products listed on the platform unless explicitly stated. Unimart acts solely as an intermediary to facilitate product discovery, communication, and payments.

2. Product Listings & Quality

Unimart is not responsible for the quality, authenticity, legality, accuracy, or condition of products listed by sellers. All product descriptions, images, and pricing are provided by sellers, and buyers are responsible for reviewing and verifying product details before making a purchase.

3. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for providing accurate information, complying with applicable laws, and conducting transactions in good faith. While Unimart facilitates communication and payments through the platform, Unimart is not a party to the agreement between buyers and sellers.

4. Payments & Transactions

Unimart facilitates payments through third-party payment gateways such as PayHere. While Unimart ensures secure payment processing via these services, Unimart does not guarantee product quality, delivery, or fulfillment by sellers. Payment disputes, chargebacks, refunds, or transaction failures are subject to the policies of the payment service provider and the seller, with reasonable assistance from Unimart where applicable.

Affiliate Payout Eligibility: Affiliate earnings are tracked as Affiliate Points. An affiliate marketer must have at least 500 Affiliate Points to be eligible for a payout.

5. Platform Communication

To ensure user safety and secure transactions, Unimart provides an in-platform messaging system for buyer–seller communication. Users agree not to share personal contact details or attempt to communicate or transact outside the platform before completing a purchase.

6. Default Questions & Custom Messages

Unimart may provide a predefined set of questions to help buyers obtain essential product information efficiently. If additional information is required, buyers may send custom messages to sellers through Unimart's messaging system. All messages are routed through the platform and may be monitored to prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

7. Off-Platform Transactions Prohibited

Users are strictly prohibited from attempting to bypass Unimart's communication or payment systems by arranging transactions, payments, or deliveries outside the platform prior to purchase.

8. Delivery & Disputes

Unimart is not responsible for product delivery, delays, or fulfillment. However, users may report issues such as non-delivery, fraud, or suspicious behavior through the platform. Unimart will review reported cases and take appropriate action where possible, including account warnings, suspensions, or removals.

We're Here to Help: While we're not responsible for delivery issues or product quality, we won't leave you alone with a problem. Report any issues to our support team at report a problem, and we will assist you until the issue is resolved.

9. Prohibited Items & Activities

Users may not list or engage in the sale of illegal, stolen, counterfeit, dangerous, or prohibited items. Unimart reserves the right to remove such listings or restrict accounts without prior notice.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

Unimart reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent behavior, attempt to bypass platform systems, or harm other users or the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

Unimart shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses, damages, disputes, or claims arising from the use of the platform, including but not limited to:

  • Product quality, authenticity, or condition
  • Delivery failures or delays
  • Payment disputes or transaction issues
  • User behavior or fraudulent activities
  • Third-party service failures
  • Loss of data or business opportunities

12. Content & Listing Removal

Unimart reserves the right to remove or modify any content or listings that violate platform policies or applicable laws, without prior notice.

13. Changes to Terms

Unimart may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
